तुम्हारी याद बहुत आती रही आवाज नहीं थी इसमें कोई मैं हर पल तुम्हें बुलाती रही वक्त ने भी दम तोड़ दिया अस्क सूख जाने के बाद भी उम्मीद आहटों की ख़ामोश ही रही हर बार मन होता के रोक लूं तुम्हें नम आंखे, तकल्लुफ दिल में छीपा मैं तुम्हें जाते देख मुस्कुराती रही तुम ही से सब कुछ मेरा तुम ही ये हुनर सिखाती रही बनज़र की तरह ख़ामोश ये धरती तुम बरखा बन बरसती रहीं। वक्त को रहता इंतज़ार तुम्हारा मै तुम्हारी याद में बेसब्र ही रही।।
